What I see is a figurehead with two masters trying desperately to reconcile his inability to serve either without totally “letting the cat out of the bag”. He’s screwed no matter what he does or hoped to do. I think he’ll be remembered for being our first African-American, and last Corpocratic, President. That is if all ends well. If not, well, it doesn’t matter. It may be remembered that he had a chance at greatness and simply let it pass for the safety of another few years.
He’s probably as concerned for his kids as we are for ours.
