The Importance of Iran, to Iran
Today’s edition of Schechter’s News Dissector blog is typical of the most thorough overnight news reporting you’ll find anywhere, which is why I post his blog here everyday, and which most likely explains why Schechter’s journalistic endeavors are published all over the world including Russia, Iran, and throughout the Middle East, but not picked up on in the English-speaking US, UK and Israeli press.
Are Romney and Obama ”too cowardly” to discuss what really matters? Or, are they too practical and pragmatic? Will they say anything to get elected or reelected? Besides raking in dough in the most expensive presidential gamble ever waged, where is the press in calling the candidates to address the issues that actually are the most important to the 99% v .01% voters?
Schechter gets it that Venezuela and BRIC are cut from the same cloth. If We the People do come to power after Barack is reelected, with a president not having to make decisions based on political consideration, who has the FDR ”ears to hear” what we say, it behooves us to know something of foreign policy matters – if not starting with Venezuela and BRIC, at least we should know it’s there – as Schechter does, and reminds us whenever the subject comes up.
Then there’s the matter of Israel-Palestine, and Israel-Iran, and “Classic anti-Semitism” debunked.
