News Discussion: 7 months, 2 weeks ago · ViewWhile we await the first #OccupyWallStreet demand being met if we ever learn what that first demand is, thanks for these seven that are mostly inclusive of the AmpedStatus/Network’s original platform planks, and the decided upon 1) End the System of Political Bribery (campaign finance, lobbying, revolving door), and 2) Break Up the “Too Big To Fail” Banks and the Federal Reserve. إن شاء الله, by the time of our establishing of a more perfect union (revolution), all of these except ”states rights” (dog whistle and Rand Paul Libertarian clauses) should go with the territory. Among my own demand druthers would include the implementation of a federal level counter-chickenshittedness bureaucracy, set up to protect the citizenry from chickenshits in the marketplace, and in the other governmental bureaucracies.

I have to disagree. While I agree with your no-usury and the student loan bubble that Inverted Vantage was pushing.
Why I have stayed away from both discussions which I fully agree with, is that neither of these benevolent causes are possible in our political system. As long as our politicians are obedient to industry and monied interest, they will not create the positive changes that are not only needed but absolutely necessary to keep our country as a first world nation. Even minor tweaks that would pay out in dividends for the people in the US are far to difficult if a single one of the dozens of multinational corporations see that it is not in THEIR interest. Until our government will acknowledge the people of the US it will be impossible for a usuryless system or any other noble cause.

RT محمد داود العاشر@ – Schechter and a half dozen others, that is, there were five or six or seven besides Danny saying, ”Hey, mutherfuckers, the sky is falling!” And then sure enough, within a year or two we got hit with the sub-prime meltdown they were forecasting, globally, which we haven’t recovered from, since 2007-2008, and its only getting worse because nothing has been done to stop the bankers from doing what they were doing to us all along.Danny was just saying yesterday on his News Dissector blog, ”In 2005, I began researching the role of debt in our economy and society. The work led to the film In Debt We Trust a year later. It exposed subprime/subcrime lending and was one of a few reports at the time predicting a credit crunch and meltdown. My film was initially dismissed as alarmist but later I went from zero to hero when the markets melted down, first in 2007 and then. again, a year later.”
And today I say, I know how he feels. I have been complaining about no-usury, and even my best friends go into a ”mego” [my eyes glaze over] zombie-like trance whenever I talk about ”banning usury” in these United States of America; that would set us free from the banker’s stranglehold held over us since even before we became a free country with a Bill of Rights to match. In fact, the only way we can ever free ourselves from the bankers and their system of enslavement – no different than Stalinism was in the old USSR, 1930s Nazism in Germany, or as Apartheid in South Africa was and as is in Palestine today – is to deprive Wall Street of K Street, and get rid of usury once and for all.
I watched Dylan Ratigan while he was going ballistic on his broadcast, and I realized he doesn’t get it either. What he gets and what he’s got is frustration; the frustration of feeling himself powerless to do anything about our plight. He hits all around it, but he won’t go the core of the financial system and even speak of ripping its usury-driven heart out. [TO BE CONTINUED]
