First, it’s a beginning. There has been a huge response, and that means people are learning and educating themselves about the issues – real issues, not the diversions we are usually force fed by the major media.

Second, we will have trouble measuring the effect of today’s effort. While there were only a handful of people making a stand outside my local (and fairly rural) Chase branch, many more showed up to close their accounts. And the number grew throughout the day. I doubt any of the big banks are going to come out to say ”Wow, we lost a whole lot of business on June 14th.” Likely, they’ll try to ignore us and hope we go away.

The big bank hope is a lost cause, however. Because today, we woke up THOUSANDS people. Our numbers are about to grow exponentially.

Pour the champagne – we’ve let the cat out of the bag!
