    What is going on

    Occupy Wall Street
Occupy Wall Street movement is growing and moving across the nation.
there are conflicting reports on what they stand for-
Some are for more social justice; some are for end of corporatism I don’t think they are fighting for more individual freedom I Think they are protesting for more government handouts… The Bankers got it why can’t I thought process is a true sign as to what has happened to our society. It was once a common practice to take responsibility for your actions what you put in is what you get out. But today’s society is tired of seeing so many corporations not only putting nothing in but getting whole bunch out thanks to our government.
Bernanke remarked: ”I think people are quite unhappy with the state of the economy and what’s happening. They blame, with some justification, the problems in the financial sector for getting us into this mess. And they’re dissatisfied with the policy response here in Washington. And at some level, I can’t blame them.”
In what can only described as the ultimate irony, billionaire financier George Soros has come out in support of the the Occupy Wall Street protesters. During a Monday news conference at U.N. headquarters, Soros was asked what he thought about the “Days of Rage” protests. “Actually I can understand their sentiment, frankly,” he said to the reporters.
‘THIS IS REVOLUTION NOT REFORM’ — OCCUPY WALL STREET ORGANIZER TO ‘EXCITED’ AL SHARPTON: WE ARE ANARCHISTS AND REVOLUTIONARIES,‘THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF A REVOLUTION IN THIS COUNTRY’
On October 05, 2011, at 3:00 in the afternoon the residents of Liberty Square will gather to join their union brothers and sisters in solidarity and march. At 4:30 in the afternoon the 99% will march in solidarity with #occupywallstreet from Foley Square to the Financial District, where their pensions have disappeared to, where their health has disappeared to. Together we will protest this great injustice. We stand in solidarity with the honest workers of: 3A
I have come to the conclusion…I do not agree with what I understand this movement to be-10.05.11
The protests have also garnered support from Lupe Fiasco, Michael Moore, Noam Chomsky, Russ Feingold, and former White House adviser Van Jones, who suggested that the Wall Street protesters were the tea party-like movement liberals needed right now. Occupy Wall Street is also being supported by hacktivist group Anonymous, which attacked a number of corporate and government Web sites this year. According to a video message posted on YouTube, Anonymous says it will support the protesters by erasing the New York Stock Exchange “from the Internet” on Oct. 10.
from The front page of http://occupywallst.org/ ”We stand in solidarity with the honest workers of….MoveOn.org,” What is MoveOn.org? MoveOn.org is a lobbying organization that routinely backs Democratic candidates. The group also received a $5 million dollar donation from George Soros, who is a keen supporter.
A protest that began with a few dozen demonstrators on Wall Street has now grown to thousands in Dallas and other cities as the group flooded New York City for the 19th-straight day.The Occupy Wall Street protest was duplicated as Occupy Dallas Thursday morning. Most protesters are fed up with some aspect of the economy. Hundreds marched from Pike Park near the American Airlines Center to the Federal Reserve Bank on Pearl Street in downtown.
like the Tea Party. You’re angry, you want everyone to know you’re angry, but you have no single clear objective these kind of protest are going to continue to happen do to the despair and anger of the American people… That’s what this protest is, it could also be described as flash mob politics
very concerned that the Democratic Party will try and co-opt occupywallstreet like the Republican Party co-opted the Tea Party. If not the actual protests, they’ll try and go after the brand. Considering how the Democratic Party, including Obama, has worked hand in hand with Wall Street to rob the American people, this is something that must be resisted if the integrity of the movement is to remain. MoveOn.org is essentially a front for the Democratic Party, and it’s influence should be resisted.

Syria will strike Israel and ”set fire” to the Middle East if foreign forces choose to launch a military strike on the protest-ridden country, the Iranian news agency Fars quoted Syrian President Bashar Assad as saying on Tuesday, referring to remarks made by the Syrian leader during a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu last August. http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/assad-syria-will-shower-tel-aviv-with-rockets-if-attacked-by-foreign-powers-1.388135 this has to do with the UN attacking lybia

Russia and China have joined forces to veto a European-drafted UN Security Council resolution condemning Syria and hinting that it could face sanctions if it continues its crackdown on protesters.
Tuesday’s resolution received nine votes in favor and four abstentions from Brazil, India, Lebanon and South Africa. Russia and China cast the only votes against the resolution, which was drafted by France with the co-operation of Britain, Germany and Portugal.

”The United States is outraged that this council has utterly failed to address an urgent moral challenge and a growing threat to regional peace and security,” said US ambassador Susan Rice, condemning countries who she said ”would rather sell arms to the Syrian regime.”
For months, Russia, China, Brazil, India and South Africa — the ”BRICS” countries — have criticised the United States and European council members for allegedly allowing NATO to overstep its Security Council mandate to protect civilians in Libya.

    2A-
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says the China currency bill is the most important jobs legislation Congress can enact, while House Speaker John A. Boehner calls it “dangerous” — and the White House has refused to take a stand.
Sponsored by Democrats and Republicans, the measure would push the administration to find that China is getting an unfair trade advantage by holding down the value of the yuan. The measure would allow compensatory tariffs to be imposed on goods from countries that are deemed to be undervaluing their currency.
“We share the concern of members about the valuation of the Chinese currency and the need to appreciate the value of the Chinese currency. We also are concerned that any action that might be taken would be effective and consistent with our international obligations,” White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters Tuesday, demurring yet again on the issue that is dominating Capitol Hill. He wouldn’t commit to taking a stand before the Senate holds a final vote, which could come later this week.
“I think it’s pretty dangerous for us to move legislation in the United States Congress forcing someone to deal with the value of their currency,” the Ohio Republican told reporters at the Capitol.
This is well beyond I think what the Congress ought to be doing. While I’ve got concerns about how the Chinese have dealt with their currency, I’m not sure this will fix it,” he said.
However, supporters said that’s already the reality.
“We are already in a trade war with China, and it’s not going that well,” said Sen. Charles E. Schumer, New York Democrat. “American companies are fighting for survival in the United States and around the globe, battling subsidized Chinese exports with a built-in price advantage of 20 percent to 40 percent.”

The share of people relying on government benefits has reached a historic high, in large part from the deep recession and meager recovery, but also because of the expansion of government programs over the years.
High unemployment and increased reliance on government programs has also shrunk the nation’s share of taxpayers. Some 46.4% of households will pay no federal income tax this year, according to the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center. That’s up from 39.9% in 2007, the year the recession began. Benefits programs have come under closer scrutiny as policymakers attempt to tame the federal government’s budget deficit. President Barack Obama and members of Congress considered changes to Social Security and Medicare as part of a grand bargain (that ultimately fell apart) to raise the debt ceiling earlier this year. Cuts to such programs could emerge again from the so-called “super committee,” tasked with releasing a plan to rein in the deficit.

A word to the wise is sufficient. Have a great day

So how does a person qualify as a potential domestic terrorist? here are characteristics that qualify:

Expressions of libertarian philosophies (statements, bumper stickers)
Second Amendment-oriented views (NRA or gun club membership, holding a CCW permit)
Survivalist literature (fictional books such as “Patriots” and “One Second After” are mentioned by name)
Self-sufficiency (stockpiling food, ammo, hand tools, medical supplies)
Fear of economic collapse (buying gold and barter items)
Religious views concerning the book of Revelation (apocalypse, anti-Christ)
Expressed fears of Big Brother or big government
    Homeschooling
Declarations of Constitutional rights and civil liberties
Belief in a New World Order conspiracy
Another common tactic used in DHS sponsored training is the slander of certain ideologies by linking an erroneous characteristic to a particular group. Here are some examples:

These groups hold the anniversaries of certain dates as significant such a Ruby Ridge, Waco and Hitler’s birthday
They oppose abortion, support gun rights and are affiliated with the Ku Klux Klan
They are fearful of big government, espouse support for the Constitution and want to kill police officers
These groups collect firearms, survivalist books and explosives
These extremists read books such as Patriots, One Second After and The Anarchist Cookbook
They are religious zealots, reading the book of Revelation, speak of the second coming of Christ and plan mass murders to summon the end of the world
These people grow their own food, raise livestock and plot attacks on commercial food production facilities

Clearly someone home schooling a child is an enemy of the state and should be sent to a labour camp immediately.
Also someone buying gold or silver needs 10 years to consider their crimes… throw their kids and parents in there too.
Stalin had a very similar system of governance -it worked well for him for 31 years.
It might be worth noting it cost an estimated 20 million Russian lives
This toll included 9.5 million men, women and children perishing in labour camps paying for similar crimes as those listed above.
If you are not participating in the coming in the attempt to give America back to the people, please consider moving some where safe…

I guess they should add ”Think for themselves.”

    • Avatar Image

The vast majority of my friends and neighbors fit some of these. However, I doubt any of them would be considered potential domestic terrorists. Why? Peace. They don’t fit into the revolutionary mold, except as thinkers. They don’t dispute the validity of the Government, just some of it’s less intelligent ideas. They are reformers, not subversives. Some believe in the second amendment out of freedom but most don’t feel the need to arm themselves. The don’t view the state as an oppressor, just a dysfunctional bureaucracy. These people DO think for themselves and they happen to agree with a lot of other people too.

In short, they lack the paranoia that causes some people to scan the skies for black helicopters. Wanting the system changed does not make one an enemy of the system. Wanting the system gone, does.
