There were three senior citizens standing for an hour on June 14 on Stoney Creek Bridge in Pasadena, Maryland. We are not physically able to stand any longer, but we were with the New York City effort with all our hearts. In the hour we stood with signs saying ”End the Fed” and ”Bermanke, Resign,” we got 21 honks from cars passing. One was a school bus. We also sang together with our three voices, ”When the Saints Go Marching In” with the lines, ”And when Bernanke Resigns” and ”And when the Fed comes crashing down.” As we seniors were taught in school, ”Mighty oaks from little acorns grow.” We will go back to the bridge and hope to enlarge out numbers as we pick up indications that the time is right to add our small energies to the mix.
