In regards to the To Big To Fail….Just got off the phone with someone who has experienced the whole foreclosure fiasco with B of A that seems never ending!!! First this person lost their job (at a bank) in 2008, couldn’t find work, then thought they would be saved by Obama’s making homes affordable bullshit program They applied many many times with B of A claiming they never rec’d the paperwork, and then proceded after about five months to try to auction the property without success. All the while the bank claimed that they were approved to only make partial payments on their morgage. Eventually my friend moved worried that the sheriff would be coming any day to escort them out. This person is older and have worked all their life for this type of crap.
This person then logically thought that it would be best to claim bankrupcy to relieve them of the liability of the property only to find out now they have also been screwed by the law firm. The bankrupcy is final, but B of A still shows this person as the owner responsible for taxes and HOA fee…..This person is again without work and income….this is bullshit and has to stop!

I agree that we the people should not expect others to do the thinking for us…and that we have to take responsibility. It is one of the reasons why when I speak to people and they say they hope the government can come up with solutions…I tell them they can’t and won’t …..solutions will come from the bottom up…from us, the people themselves and we must be the ones to demand change. Otherwise the top down solutions will only bring more lies, deciet and theft.
However, movies such as these can assist in awaking those who are still asleep…and there are still too many of them.

With the big money backers of the Tea Party and the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision, media as a tool to do harm today is every bit as dangerous to We the People and the 99% as a movement as it ever was during the Joe McCarthy (John Birch Society – Libertarian) era. If we are to move forward, these new young people can’t be ignorant of our history. What happened happened! 99% of Thomas Frank’s Kansas is made up of the 99% yet invariably Kansans vote against their own best interest and instead give their support to the 1% who give nothing back to Kansas or to any of the rest of the 99% anywhere else. Such are the establishment Republican ”conservative” and ”fundamentalist” and now Tea Party voting patterns even beyond Kansas. We the People and the 99% that see the dismantling of the 1% and their Wall Street and K Street institutions deserve better than what Kansas and the red states generally vote for themselves. I mention this because Channel 4’s A Very British Coup (the TV movie) fictionalizes the same 8-ball that the 2009 Obama administration is behind. Sure, Barack won the election and is President of the United States, but beyond the GOP’s three year campaign of obstructing anything and everything that could help in Obama’s reelection, the Cheney-Bush White House (neocon) and GHWB-CIA, along with the Zionists, Likud, Mossad and the Israel Lobby including AIPAC are still calling the crucial shots from their undisclosed locations in Washington and Tel Aviv. Happy New Year fellow Brothers and Sisters….
It has been quite a year. I just wanted to let you know that there are those of us out there that do listen to what is going on and I am thankful that I found this site. I have probably been to passive in participating, but I do read and think about almost everything here. Before I found this site, I had been wondering if people were seeing and feeling the same strange disillusionment, but instead, people think Im paranoid and are more concerned with Dancing with the Stars and the insane consumerist religion here in the States.
I was quite energized by the OWS movement and tried to participate in some local events, but because of work and family, I don’t get to do enough. Lately, I have been very discouraged from the last 3 or 4 months of watching as our country is blatently engulfed in protecting the 1% at the expense of all the rest. The graphic realization that no one can deny is that in fact, we are now absolutely living in a police state. On top of that, our country is now deemed a ”battlefield” and Americans can be detained indefinitely with the NDAA Act brings even more disgust, sadness and grief.
The disgusting realization that our country has absolutely no interest in proscuting those involved of financial fraud and to continue the fraud upon the country is frightning. Also, I now believe that this country is interested in War and possible free labor in detention camps as the only solution to the coming economic collaspse.
I apologize for the dismal nature of my Happy New Year…but please remember there are those of us that are here and listening. I will try to become more engaged because I feel it neccessary almost for my spiritual health as well. Being faced everyday with people that are so out of touch becomes exhausting in itself.
Cheers to all Enlightend Citizens…may we regain more strength and peace in the coming year

Hello and welcome
I too tried to participate in Milwaukee and I saw no one but a police presence everywhere. I finally met up with some others and we all though…wow, all these cops for us.
The positive that came from the experience is this….they must be taking our grievance serious with all the police presence and I was glad to me up with other people that share the same concerns and passions. But I believe that more must be done to advance the cause with others like all the protests in Madison, and other groups that share the view of being screwed by the Corporations, Fed and To big to fail banking institutions.
Also…I realize WE are the start of awakening a sleeping giant (mainly of the mind). Do not be discouraged people….I know sometimes in my daily life people laugh at my intense desire to change the future and tell me it cant be done and tell me its a waste of time. Dont believe them, don’t give up….I glad I met you people the other day…..it gave me more strength. Peace
