I don’t think anyone would object to your re-posting the link-to SEC Opens Review of J.P. Morgan again into the no-usury discussion (group).
Of course I agree with the sentiments of the ”SEC Opens Review of J.P. Morgan” article. While it is about regulation and re-regulation, it is also about social responsibility and respect. The JPMs of this world have no respect for the 99% who through usury they bleed us to death – as in blood money – generating profits while producing nothing in our same nation where we live, the unregulated 1% in this country are totally socially irresponsible; outsourcing jobs, and hiding money offshore to evade paying their fair share.
There might have been a misunderstanding in my note to Schechter this ayem. He is indeed a scholar in matters of finance and economics. I was asking for him to lend his expertise in sorting out Bloomberg’s JPMorgan (fiasco) story. What specifically has it to do with the 99%? Instead of lending money into our US economy, they hoarded their cash by squirreling it away into one of their suicidally (see Wal-Mart capitalism) risky derivatives games that backfired on them and the JPMorgan shareholders – which wouldn’t have happened if they would have ”invested” instead in our US economy. It wouldn’t matter, I mean, it is their money; they can do anything they want with it. But to hoard or hide or to invest their (”Too Big to Fail” Wall Street banks) money in anything other than Main Street and small business, besides being chickenshit because they are not helping the economy make a faster recovery happen as per the 1%’ s GOP and Mitch McConnell dictate, to make Barack Obama be a one term president – to perpetuate the 2009 crash of our economy just to make a 2012 political point? That was just plain stupid! The chickenshits have indeed come home to roost. Sometimes, as Malcolm X spoke of after JFK was assassinated, and now again as the 1%’ s GOP and the Mitch McConnells of this world hold a gun to the head of the 99%. Get it, folks, the 1% is the enemy. It is through Wall Street (banking) they enslave us and ”tax” us to death, while literally stealing health care and housing and education away from us! Danny Schechter is more than helpful in ”dissecting” the 1% problem. He’s written books and made moves on the subject. Thanks for that! David DeGraw* is saying it’s (our) time to fight back, starting with ”99%ing” the Federal Reserve and breaking up the ”Too Big to Fail” banks.
