A senior military official in Maliki's military office said in a statement to Al-Monitor that “four regiments of the ground forces, each consisting of nearly 2,000 troops and protected by armed helicopters, had arrived to the border with Jordan and Syria.”

The official, who is a senior officer supervising the security situation in the Sunni provinces, said, “The objective in moving the troops to the border is to secure Iraqi areas adjacent to the border and to prevent fighters from sneaking into [Iraq].”

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added, “The forces that have finally arrived to the border are equipped with sophisticated heavy weapons,” without giving any further details..."

"The al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front has assassinated a large number of the so-called Free Syrian Army (FSA) officers, a report says.

The Arabi-Press report also said the al-Nusra Front systematically threatens the families of FSA officers.

Fearing the influence of al-Nusra Front, most FSA officers do not have the courage to speak out about numerous treasons committed by the al-Qaeda offshoot against the ongoing revolt in Syria.

The treacherous acts include attempts to assassinate FSA officers and striking political and military deal with different parties including the ruling government in Syria.

A Syrian opposition figure said the al-Nusra Front is headquartered in the towering white building of an eye hospital in the volatile city of Aleppo. Between 300 and 500 militants are reportedly stationed in the headquarters.

The unnamed militant said the Syrian Army’s artillery is deployed only one kilometer away from the al-Nusra headquarters where Dushka-mounted vehicles are parked or moving.

Come the [R]évolutión, in a Department of Fairness, the chickenshittedness of the Feinstein-Blum "deal" wouldn't happen; that outa the clear blue nowhere, a six-percent commission on the sale of property owned by "the government" be handed over to the husband of a Senator who had, in the spirit of the thing, what could be construed as insider-ish information... or that the real estate brokerage contract went without anyone having to bid on it? Who knows, maybe someone would have been willing to provide the same service to "the government" of We the People for a five-percent commission, or one-percent - saving millions for the treasury. This is just an idea, but such a bidding process could have been conducted locally; i.e., in the cities and states in closest proximity to the post office property for sale, among local real estate firms. After all, they likely know the specific property and the neighborhoods better than some guy with offices in San Francisco. In a truly nationalized banking and real estate market, We the People could sell our own property. Or, every broker in town could be considered the "listing broker" and the commission would be paid to the firm and agent that actually sold the property to a willing buyer.

Fair enough?
